Where to go for in-line skating
Try the bicycle path along the Han river
The in-line skating rink in Jamsil in southeastern Seoul.
For years, the majority of in-line skaters in Seoul have viewed the bicycle path along the Han River as the safest spot. The trail, which stretches from Yeouido on the western end to Gangdong district on the eastern end, is evenly covered in either asphalt or concrete, making it perfect for in-line skaters.
There are two outdoor skating rinks, for both in-line and roller skating, in Hanggang Riverside Park: the Ichon-dong rink (02) 790-6385 and the Jamsil rink (no phone number), just north of the Jamsil Stadium. At Jamsil, volunteers offer free lessons every second and fourth Sunday of the month.
